2. Applicable legal framework
This policy is governed by the Organic Law for the Protection of Personal Data of Ecuador (LOPDP, Supplementary Official Register 459 of 26 May 2021) and its General Regulation, as well as the provisions of the Superintendency for the Protection of Personal Data in force at any given time.
3. Data we collect
We collect the data you provide when subscribing to our newsletter: name and email address. In addition, through cookies and similar technologies, we collect technical information such as anonymised IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited and referral source.
4. Purposes of processing
Your data is processed to: (a) send the educational guide requested and subsequent communications about real estate crowdlending in Ecuador; (b) measure and improve site performance; (c) comply with the legal obligations applicable to Nioslopser Cía. Ltda. in Ecuador.
5. Legal basis
Processing is based on the express consent you grant when ticking the acceptance box in the form, in accordance with Article 7 of the LOPDP. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
6. Data retention
We retain subscription data for as long as you remain registered to the newsletter. If you request to unsubscribe, we retain a minimum record of the request for 5 years to evidence compliance, as required by Ecuadorian regulations.
7. Recipients
We do not sell your data. It may be accessed by technology providers engaged by Nioslopser (email delivery, analytics and hosting services) under data processing agreements that guarantee technical measures equivalent to those required by the LOPDP.
8. International transfers
Some providers are located in countries such as the United States or members of the European Union. In every case, we require adequate contractual guarantees pursuant to Article 56 et seq. of the LOPDP.
9. Rights of the data subject
You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, portability and not to be subject to automated decisions, by writing to hola@nioslopser.com with a copy of your ID document. If you consider that your rights have not been honoured, you may contact the Superintendency for the Protection of Personal Data of Ecuador.
10. Security
We apply TLS 1.3 encryption for communications, role-based access control, encrypted backups and periodic audits. These measures are reviewed annually to align with the best practices in force in 2026.
11. Changes to the policy
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory or service changes. Any substantial change will be notified by email to subscribers at least 15 days in advance.
